Our mission is to help changemaking teachers empower students to realize their potential and lead a life of meaning and purpose through real world concepts. Funded by the generosity of our donors, we are able to provide training, support and open-source activities at no cost to educators.

To pursue supplemental funding through Empowered Micro-Grants. You will need to create a submittable account and have your identity verified before applying.

What: Micro grants of $100-$500 enable teachers to quickly implement the Principles + Markets = Mindset experiential instructional strategy in their classrooms where funding is a barrier. 

 Who: Registered Empowered Teachers  

Empowered awards micro grants to teachers that have opted in to using our Principles + Markets = Mindset approach in their classrooms.  

 Eligibility:  

• Must be in our Empowered Teacher Community, Empowered Hub.  
• Must have a current class registration on file with Empowered. 
• Must complete grant report within current school year to maintain future eligibility.  
• Must be implementing in the United States & Willing to complete a W9 to receive payment. 

Application: 

• You will need to create a free Submittable account or sign in with Google or Facebook credentials to submit to these forms.
• You can save a draft of your work if you would like to finish filling out the form at a later date.

Approval & Distribution:

• Grant requests are reviewed weekly. If approved, you will be notified via email. Please be sure to safelist notification emails from Submittable and check the email you used to sign up for your Submittable Account regularly.
•  If approved your micro-grant will be distributed via a pre-paid debit card. If this is your first Empowered request, your card should arrive within 2-3 weeks
